On November 21, 1907, a healer was born. Etta Lee Arrington Davis Henderson also known as “Nana” helped her community in ways of healing by providing natural remedies/herbs, healing hands, prayer, counsel, shelter, food, and clothing to anyone in need. With a second grade education and little to nothing, during one of the most traumatic times of her life, she migrated from the South to make a better life for her family. In NJ she became “the hood healer”. The love she provided and non judgmental persona gravitated people to her from all walks of life. Healing was in her hands. Her mantra was “use all of your gifts, so that when you go before God you can say, God I used everything you gave me, I come to you empty“! She ascended and became an ancestor on January 22, 1997.
